Job summary

AMIRI is seeking a Stock Associate for its retail store at The Mall at Short Hills. The role involves receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory while closely collaborating with the sales team to ensure accurate stock and smooth store operations.

Responsibilities include shipping/receiving, inventory reconciliation, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean stockroom while adhering to safety policies. Strong attention to detail and the ability to lift heavy objects are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of inventory management software or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify against invoices or manifests.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Assist with picking, packing, and shipping orders for timely fulfillment.
• Keep stockroom and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist sales team with product location and questions.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
