Qualifications

• Professional demeanor suitable for a luxury environment.
• Experience in a luxury restaurant is a plus.
• Experience in a luxury hotel environment is a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge (POS systems) such as Micros or similar.
• Must have OpenTable reservation system experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge each guest promptly using names with hotel greeting standard.
• Escort guests to their table and introduce their server.
• Answer telephone using hotel/restaurant standards.
• Perform side work assigned by management.
• Know and implement service standards for guests.
• Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met.
• Check menus to ensure current, clean, and wrinkle-free presentation.
• Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has needed items.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area; report guest concerns to management.
• Thank every guest upon departure and invite them to return.
