Job summary

Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Florida seeks a Public Area Attendant to clean and maintain all public spaces on-site. You will handle lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and outdoor areas, ensuring pristine presentation for guests.

The role requires experience in hospitality cleaning, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or public area cleaning in hospitality.
• Ability to safely use basic cleaning equipment and products.
• Strong attention to detail and guest-facing presentation.
• Effective communication and guest-focused attitude.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work indoors/outdoors.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish fixtures and replenish supplies.
• Remove trash and respond promptly to guest and team requests.
• Report maintenance issues and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and engineering to maintain high service standards.
