Job summary

Eden Roc Miami Beach is seeking a Catering Coordinator to join our luxury oceanfront team in Miami Beach. You will coordinate all aspects of catering events, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up, and work with clients to deliver personalized service throughout planning.

The role includes assisting in menu planning, coordinating with banquet, culinary, and audiovisual teams, and managing timelines, contracts, and logistics to ensure seamless events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in event planning or catering coordination.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all aspects of catering events, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and provide personalized service throughout the planning process.
• Assist in menu planning, including customization and dietary accommodations.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of events, including banquet, culinary, and audiovisual teams.
• Manage event timelines, contracts, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist in the preparation of event orders, setup sheets, and other necessary documentation.
• Contribute to the success of the sales and catering team by achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
