Responsibilities

• Perform skilled carpentry work including framing, trim, cabinetry, door and window repair, and custom finish carpentry in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces.
• Execute fine finish work such as staining, sealing, and detailed touch-up to luxury property standards.
• Fabricate, repair, and install furniture, millwork, and built-ins for seamless fit and function.
• Diagnose and repair structural wood elements, flooring, decking, and trim with durability in mind.
• Inspect and repair grout, caulking, and finish carpentry details to maintain a flawless appearance.
• Record equipment temperatures and report any readings out of range.
• Maintain, repair, and finish all guest rooms and property spaces per preventative maintenance procedures.
• Mentor and guide junior maintenance staff on carpentry best practices.
• Report serious maintenance problems or safety hazards to the manager.
