Job summary

Ponte Vineyard Inn in Temecula, CA is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces and assist with guest needs. This role supports the housekeeping team and upholds our Four Diamond standards.

Compensation is $21 hourly with a schedule that varies by hotel needs. Benefits include 401k matching, life and pet insurance, PTO, and paid holidays. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards (lobbies, restrooms, hallways, meeting spaces, outdoor areas).
• Greet guests warmly and assist with inquiries or requests.
• Monitor and promptly remove trash to maintain a pleasant environment.
• Assist with guest room cleaning as needed to support the housekeeping team.
• Organize and maintain storage areas, reporting shortages or issues to management.
• Complete assigned deep-cleaning projects and monthly rotations.
• Deliver guest-requested items and assist with luggage transportation when needed.
• Report maintenance issues in public areas to ensure swift resolution.
