Job summary

Ponte Vineyard Inn in Temecula, CA is seeking a friendly Busser to maintain the dining area and support servers with efficiency and hospitality. You will clear tables, clean dining spaces, and ensure guests have an exceptional experience in a winery setting.

Shifts include weekends and holidays. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and attention to detail in a guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Responsible Beverage Service Card is required.
• Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to treat all associates and guests with respect.

• Willingness to improve and provide courteous service.
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Capable of lifting and carrying a tray weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods and work up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and respond quickly to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Promptly bring water to the table and replenish drinks before the guest asks.
• Assist the server with food delivery ensuring proper temperature and quality.
• Pre-bus tables between courses and manage tableware as needed.
• Clear tables after guests depart and ensure dining area is clean for next guests.
• Notify host/hostess and server when table is ready to maintain restaurant efficiency.
• Empty linen bags, take out trash, organize dish area, polish glassware.
• Complete all duties before the end of shift.
• Focus throughout the shift and troubleshoot as needed.
• Perform other tasks as requested by Management.

Ponte Vineyard Inn is a Four Diamond, 90 room, boutique hotel located next to Ponte Winery and are surrounded by 300 acres of mature vineyards and views of rolling hills. Summary:

The Bouquet Restaurant Busser will primarily focus on maintaining dining area by clearing glasses and cleaning common area in a quick and efficient manner, while providing exceptional service.

Compensation : $16.90 hourly + Tips

Schedule:

• Weekends and Holidays are a must
• Hours/Days vary by hotel needs (A.M. or P.M. shifts)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a smile and respond quickly to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Promptly bring water to the table and replenish drinks before the guest has to request a refill.
• Assist the server when needed with food delivery ensuring the food is served at the proper temperature and quality.
• Pre bus table between courses including the removal or addition of any necessary tableware.
• Clear tables after guests depart ensuring tables, chairs and floor are clean for next guests’ arrival.
• Notify host/hostess and food server when table is ready to ensure efficiency is maintained in the restaurant area.
• Empty linen bags, take out trash, organize dish area, polish glassware and other duties assigned by management.
• Ensure that all duties are carried out before the end of shift.
• Ability to focus for an entire shift, trouble shooting and prioritizing skills.
• Perform any other tasks as requested by Management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Responsible Beverage Service Card is required.
