Job summary
Goebel is seeking a Product Engineer to convert architectural specs into precise drawings and manufactured parts using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will develop approval drawings, select materials, and ensure form, fit, and function for cabinetry and millwork, delivering compliant shop drawings and effective value engineering.

Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree preferred in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Manufacturing, Drafting, or Engineering.
- At least 3 years of engineering design experience in design/manufacturing, cabinetry, or millwork; or 5 years in commercial manufacturing shop floor.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS Office; familiarity with ERP software such as Global Shop.
Responsibilities
- Analyze architectural specs to create client drawings and approvals.
- Develop precise approval drawings and details using value engineering.
- Assess materials and ensure form, fit, and function for manufacturing and installation.
- Produce and manage project drawings, track changes from start to finish.
- Utilize ERP to build and maintain a BOM supporting procurement and production processes.
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues to uphold standards and communicate with stakeholders.
