Job summary

The Dinex Group, home to Chef Daniel Boulud's Blue Box Café and flagship restaurants, seeks a Private Events Coordinator in New York to support the Events Director in coordinating private dining experiences, full restaurant buy-outs, semi-private events, and off-site opportunities.

You will manage client communication, prepare BEOs, advise on menus, tours, and on-site visits, and ensure flawless execution, working with tools like Tripleseat, Resy, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• College or equivalent hospitality education required.
• Minimum 2-year experience in Fine Dining, Forbes, or Michelin restaurant as Events Coordinator required.
• Experience coordinating events on a team that generates minimum of $2.5million in event revenue.
• Large scale production and/or high volume event experience a plus.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business.
• Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Outlook, Office Suite, Resy, allseated and Tripleseat required.

Responsibilities

• Keep communication open between clients, management and staff.
• Oversee events from setup through completion with clear team communication.
• Maintain leads/inquiries from Tripleseat, Outlook, and other platforms.
• Prepare and post weekly BEOs for smooth execution.
• Advise clients on menus, room setup, florals, A/V, rentals.
• Conduct on-site client visits and greet host/clients on event day.
