The role requires knowledge of menu offerings, attentiveness, and discretion to reflect the property's luxury standards. Candidates should be able to work outdoors seasonally, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. EOE.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong beverage knowledge with understanding of cocktail recipes, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Able to complete a satisfactory background check.
• Available and willing to work flexible hours based on business needs including weekdays and weekends.
• Expresses sincere enthusiasm for the role and passion for food and beverage.
• Must know how to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion. Able to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused while maintaining hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting, seating, assisting, and supporting all servers and bartenders in dining and poolside areas; handling guest requests and running food and beverage items, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including specials, to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Be perceptive, proactive, and engaging. Anticipate and personalize the guest experience when possible; remember your guest and their requests.
• Support VIP and special occasion service, encourage repeat visits, and professionally resolve guest concerns by escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Set up, organize, and maintain dining rooms, poolside areas, service stations, bars, and seasonal outdoor seating areas, including arranging furniture, umbrellas, lounge chairs, tables, towels, and other guest amenities according to established standards.
