Bergdorf Goodman, a Bergdorf Goodman brand of Saks Fifth Avenue, is seeking a Merchandise Assistant to support the buying office with data entry and coordination with GCC. This role offers exposure to the merchant organization and potential career progression within Saks Global.

The position requires a four-year degree and prior retail or fast-paced environment experience. The candidate will collaborate with Buyers and Assistant Buyers, ensure timely web load of merchandise, and manage item

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with buying offices and GCC.
• Communicate effectively with Buyers and Assistant Buyers.
• Inputs detailed item attribute information into systems.
• Works with online team to ensure all merchandise is loaded to web in a timely manner.
• Addresses receiving/quality assurance issues with warehouse.
• Maintains Item updates and adjustments through full life cycle.
• Input essential data to create and track items.
• Provide administrative support to the buying division as needed.
