Job summary

David Yurman is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Men's Design Intern to join the Men’s Design team in New York. You will gain hands-on experience in luxury jewelry design, supporting research, concept development, and design activities across multiple projects.

The internship offers exposure to design concepts, mood boards, and presentations, with mentorship and networking opportunities in a fast-paced luxury environment. NYC-based, paid internship for Summer 2027.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Strong interest in men’s jewelry, luxury products, fashion, and design.
Strong drawing and visual communication skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
CAD or 3D design experience is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced team.
Curious, proactive, and receptive to feedback.
Portfolio demonstrating design ability and aesthetic.

Responsibilities

Support the Men's Design team with research, concept development, and design materials.
Conduct visual and market research related to jewelry, fashion, art, architecture, materials, and cultural trends.
Create mood boards and presentation materials for reviews.
Assist with hand sketches, technical drawings, and digital renderings.
Organize design files and project documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams through the product development process.
Support sample reviews and product photography.
Provide general support on ongoing projects and seasonal initiatives.
