Job summary

David Yurman Internship Program in New York City is a paid 9-week immersive experience designed for students and emerging professionals passionate about the luxury jewelry industry. This exclusive program offers interns the opportunity to work closely with expert teams across various departments.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in crafting exquisite jewelry, understanding the intricacies of luxury branding, and learning the operational aspects of a world-renowned brand.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Jewelry Design, Design, or a related field; Product Development with a background in Design or Jewelry Design is also preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Interest in jewelry design and the product development process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Design Development through CAD and Shop submissions, layout and color proposals, and pricing requests.
• Support the Design team in preparing styles for T/O, Market, and Product Development.
• Develop knowledge of the Design Development process from Concept through Production through hands-on collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Create and update layouts and colorways in Photoshop to support product development.
• Partner with the team on additional operational and development needs as assigned.
