Job summary

David Yurman Summer 2027 Internship in New York City offers a paid, 9-week immersive experience for students and emerging professionals passionate about luxury jewelry. The role supports the Men’s Design team with research, concept development, and design material preparation, providing exposure to the full product development process in a fast-paced creative

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in men’s jewelry, luxury products, fashion, and design.
• Strong drawing and visual communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with CAD or 3D design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Men’s Design team with research, concept development, and preparation of design materials.
• Conduct visual and market research related to jewelry, fashion, art, architecture, materials, and cultural trends.
• Assist with the creation and organization of mood boards, inspiration boards, and seasonal design presentations.
• Support designers with hand sketches, technical drawings, and digital renderings as needed.
• Assist in preparing design presentations and materials for internal reviews.
• Organize and maintain design files, reference materials, samples, and project documentation.
• Partner with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and other cross functional teams as needed throughout the product development process.
• Assist with sample reviews, product photography, and documentation.
• Provide general support to the Men’s Design team on ongoing projects and seasonal initiatives.
