Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in a Montessori-Inspired Memory Care community. You will assist with daily living activities, medication management, and progress reporting to promote dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• CNA license or two years' caregiver experience required.
• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Our Caregivers:

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
