Job summary

Viceroy Hotels is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue in the luxury hospitality segment at a property in Los Cabos, Mexico. You will own prospecting, account management, and direct sales efforts while aligning with the Director of Sales to maximize occupancy and ADR.

The role requires hotel experience, strong communication, and willingness to work long hours. Responsibilities include attending HHBR, understanding hotel operations, and developing a robust sales plan with proactive outreach,

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be skilled in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Effective verbal/written communication with all levels of staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily HHBR meeting.
• Develop knowledge of hotel operations including F&B, Guest Services, Reservations.
• Understand sales policies and SOPs; ensure adherence by sales team.
• Meet or exceed set sales goals.
• Operate the Sales Department within budget.
• Initiate and follow up on leads; maintain active solicitation program.
• Monitor top account production and market trends; contact accounts regularly.
• Invite clients for site inspections and entertainment; support promotions.
