Job summary

Proper Hospitality is seeking an Engineeri ng professional to maintain and repair the hotel’s building systems and equipment in Austin. You will work with the engineering team to ensure facilities operate safely and efficiently, addressing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks while minimizing guest impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; tech training preferred.
• 1-2 years in maintenance/engineering, preferably in hospitality.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Experience with maintenance management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of hotel facilities and equipment.
• Repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and lighting.
• Troubleshoot issues with minimal guest disruption.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and document activities.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
