Job summary

Viceroy Washington DC is seeking a Cook to prepare all food items across Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets. You will maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, minimize waste, and maximize cost efficiency while following hotel standards.

The role requires culinary experience, ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility for long hours. Fine dining hotel setting with comprehensive employee benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; culinary experience preferred.
• Proficient in a range of cooking techniques and station prep.
• Knowledge of hotel kitchen standards and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Prepare all foods according to standardized recipes for Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets.
• Prepare buffet items and ensure timely service during operating hours.
• Assist in kitchen stations and maintain proper food handling and sanitation.
