Hotel Wildemont, Autograph Collection in the Birmingham area, seeks a Steward to maintain a clean, efficient culinary operation and support a luxury team. You will wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, helping sustain a well-organized kitchen in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with food preparation and plating as needed, ensure proper handling and storage of food and supplies, and uphold food safety guidelines to protect guest well-being and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the culinary team by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of food and supplies
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow
