Job summary

Detroit Foundation Hotel is seeking an Ambassador who owns the guest experience from start to finish, delivering a highly personalized visit with warmth and professionalism.

The role requires a passion for service, at least two years in luxury guest or customer service, and strong English communication. Expect a collaborative, detail-focused environment with support from the Guest Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in guest/customer service for luxury goods or services.
• Professional proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of Motor Vehicle Report required to assist in parking guest vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion and genuine care for all aspects of a guest’s experience, handling all interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
• Own all aspects of a guest’s experience from beginning to end by ensuring accurate and thorough reservation details, inviting arrival, local recommendations and seamless departure.
• Accommodate special requests whenever possible, even if it requires breaking protocol for the guest’s benefit.
• Serve as the tour guide for hotel experiences, uncovering guest likes or dislikes to personalize touches.
• Demonstrate mastery of hotel systems to input, update, and utilize guest information across channels.
• Fill every detail of the guest experience, ensuring nothing is overlooked for a seamless stay.
• Prioritize guest satisfaction, wearing multiple hats (bellman, valet, greeter) as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and discretion in all guest interactions with a calm, engaging presence.
• Utilize knowledge of service standards to address concerns and suggest improvements to the Guest Service Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues and departments to meet guest needs and handle feedback gracefully.
• Go beyond expectations to assist guests, support teammates, and cross-train as needed.
