Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Food Runner to deliver meals accurately and promptly from kitchen to guests, while keeping dining areas ready and assisting with guest requests. This position sits within the Restaurant team and reports to the Restaurant Manager or Outlet Manager.

You will collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain presentation standards, stock service stations, and help set up and reset tables. Opportunities for training and growth are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to carry and balance food trays safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to accurately read food tickets and coordinate with kitchen and service teams.
• Excellent guest service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to obtain any required local food handling or alcohol service certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests with accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
• Assist with clearing, resetting, and preparing tables, linens, glassware, silverware, and dining areas for service.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests and concerns.
• Support restaurant operations by stocking service stations with necessary supplies and food items.
• Assist with the setup, replenishment, breakdown, and cleaning of buffets and food stations.
• Ensure food presentation and portion standards are maintained before delivery to guests.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create memorable guest experiences and maintain Four Seasons standards.
