A Food Runner (or Server Assistant) delivers food from the kitchen to tables quickly and accurately, supporting servers by ensuring prompt service, checking orders, and maintaining table readiness, requiring speed, attention to detail, and good customer service to enhance the dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport prepared meals and drinks from the kitchen to the correct guest tables.
• Double-check order tickets against finished dishes for proper items, presentation, and garnishes.
• Set tables, clear used dishes, and ensure tables are clean and ready for new guests.
• Assist servers and kitchen staff with tasks like restocking stations and expediting food.
• Greet guests, answer basic questions about food, and check in to see if they need anything else.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
