Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside near Miami Beach seeks a skilled Bartender to provide guests with quick, professional beverage service and a thorough knowledge of the bar menu.

You will craft wines, spirits, and cocktails, explain origins and preparation, handle orders at the bar, assist with food items, and ensure accurate checks and payments while delivering the luxury service Four Seasons is known for.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years bartending or related work.
• Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.
• Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and Four Seasons standards.
• Confirm guest orders using the POS system and verify against the original order.
• Take orders from guests at the bar with detailed descriptions of origin, taste and preparation methods; maintain knowledge of liquors, wines, and specialty drinks.
• Serve food items in the bar area with the same level of knowledge as beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs, gauge satisfaction, and respond promptly to concerns and requests.
• Close guest checks and process payments accurately, including handling voids and adjustments.
