Job summary

Innovative People Solutions seeks a Superintendent to lead residential construction at a Gulf Coast community in Florida, six miles east of Seaside. The role partners with the Project Manager and design engineers to deliver luxury homes on a planned mixed-use development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent management experience.
• Able to read and understand blueprints.
• Basic computer knowledge (iPad, smartphone).
• Knowledge of construction procedures, methods, materials, tools, and safety.
• Strong time management, negotiation, analytical, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality control with daily inspections to ensure high standards.
• Coordinate and supervise workers and construction needs across phases.
• Confirm conditions and utilities prior to construction.
• Ensure accurate layout of each home throughout construction.
• Monitor rough-in locations for proper placement.
• Inspect drawings for conflicts and request RFI if needed.
• Select materials and ensure code compliance while controlling costs.
• Plan the sequence of fabrication, assembly and erection.
• Communicate schedules to subs and vendors daily, weekly and monthly.
• Ensure safety tools and regulatory requirements are maintained.
• Organize daily work to accommodate invoicing and meetings.
• Maintain project paperwork and emails to keep stakeholders informed.
• Promote safety culture and attend pre-construction and progress meetings.
• Maintain client relationships and responsive communication for satisfaction.
