Job summary

Genesis Residential is seeking an Assistant General Manager for The Travis, a premier 50-story luxury high-rise in Downtown Austin. You will support the General Manager in daily operations, financial performance, resident experience and administrative functions, leading onsite teams with hospitality-focused service.

This role requires strong financial acumen, operational excellence, and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• Strong financial, analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional communication, customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold team members accountable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily community operations in collaboration with the General Manager.
• Assist with policies, procedures and service standards implementation.
• Train and support onsite team; assume duties in GM’s absence.
• Coordinate with maintenance, leasing, concierge, and vendors to address priorities.
• Monitor performance and support projects and improvements.
• Assist with reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost-control initiatives.
