Genesis Residential is seeking an Assistant General Manager for The Travis in Downtown Austin. You will support daily operations, financial performance, and resident experience at a premier luxury high-rise, reporting to the General Manager and guiding onsite teams.

The role emphasizes operational excellence, hospitality‑driven service, and proactive leadership to maintain exceptional standards and drive revenue performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of multifamily property management experience, preferably in luxury/high-rise settings.
• Experience leading onsite teams and managing operations, leasing, and financial administration.
• Knowledge of delinquency, resident accounts, renewals, and lease documentation.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in daily community operations and service standards.
• Provide guidance and training to onsite team; step in during GM absence.
• Conduct inspections of apartments, amenities, and leasing spaces.
• Coordinate with maintenance, leasing, concierge, housekeeping, and vendors.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and financial closeout.
• Prepare and review occupancy, leasing, collections, and performance reports.
• Support resident relations, events, and engagement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with laws, policies, and internal controls.
• Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable in a luxury/high-rise setting.
