Job summary

Single Barrel Hospitality is seeking an Ambassador for The Aldenburg Hotel to own the guest experience from arrival to departure. You will anticipate needs, coordinate local experiences, and deliver a personal, one-of-a-kind stay with grace and discretion.

In this role, you will master hotel systems, handle requests across departments, and adapt to guests with warmth, wearing multiple hats as bellman, valet, or greeter to ensure every guest leaves impressed.

Qualifications

• Passion for people, place, and community.
• Minimum of two years in guest/customer service for luxury goods or services.
• Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing and verbal).
• Valid driver’s license and MVPR check to assist parking guest vehicles.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word to create spreadsheets or proposals.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. for handling guest luggage.
• Ability to push a bell cart with luggage up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work varying shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion and genuine care for all guest interactions with top hospitality standards.
• Own guest experience from reservation to departure, ensuring satisfaction and seamless service.
• Accommodate special requests, using sound judgment beyond protocol when beneficial to guests.
• Serve as hotel tour guide and uncover guest preferences for personalized touches.
• Master hotel systems to input and retrieve accurate information across channels.
• Ensure meticulous attention to guest details and flawless delivery of services.
• Wear multiple hats (bellman, valet, greeter) to support guest needs.
• Demonstrate professionalism and discretion in all interactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet guest needs and resolve issues.
• Seek opportunities to exceed expectations and cross-train when appropriate.
