Qualifications

• Knowledge of guest service etiquette and proper food and beverage serving techniques.
• Ability to perform host-related tasks and use job-related software and systems.
• Ability to remain calm, use good judgment and solve problems.
• Ability to work quickly, manage multiple tables, and prioritize.
• Familiarity with safety rules and proper health standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with clients and provide outstanding services.
• Welcome and greet customers, ensure hostess area is complete and consistent.
• Attend calls, assist servers, and supervise host bookings.
• Handle clients with courtesy and professionalism.
• Create a memorable first impression for guests.
• Ensure efficient seating and rotation for servers.
• Respond to inquiries, transfer calls, and log department requests.
• Train new hosts/hostesses on software and order taking per dietary guidelines.
• Maintain safety and sanitation policies in food and beverage handling.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and stations during shift.
