Job summary

Thomas Ranch Development is seeking a Grounds Caretaker & Maintenance Technician to maintain property appearance, safety, and guest readiness across ranch facilities and outdoor spaces.

The role covers landscaping, routine maintenance, event support, animal care, and asset upkeep in a luxury hospitality and ranch setting. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and physical fitness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in groundskeeping, maintenance, facilities, landscaping, ranch operations, or related field.
• Certifications or training in electrical, plumbing, irrigation, or related trades are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of all properties and areas.
• Perform landscaping, mowing, edging, pruning, irrigation support, weed control, and seasonal beautification.
• Support building and outdoor facility maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Assist with event setup/breakdown and transportation of supplies.
• Care for animals and ranch operations, including feed and cleanliness of barns and corrals.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles; follow safety protocols.
