Job summary

Henderson-Scott seeks a Senior Project Manager for luxury ground-up development in New York. You will oversee all phases of condo projects, from conception through completion, working with the Executive VP of Construction and the GC/CM team to ensure on-time delivery and premium quality.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and proven problem-solving abilities to maintain schedules and budgets across complex developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to translate objectives into actionable designs.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to stay on schedule and budget.
• Communicate project updates to senior management and partners for transparency.
• Manage bidding for designers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and facilitate external agreements.
• Oversee procurement of materials and services.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control, reviewing invoices and change orders.
• Coordinate construction activities and site visits to ensure quality and safety.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on project lifecycle and client expectations.
