Job summary

Tootsies is seeking a full-time Tailor/Seamstress in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will collaborate with stylists and managers to satisfy customers’ alterations and will accurately quote charges for each garment, completing alterations in a timely manner.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of seamstress/tailoring experience with luxury clothing and materials, and possess strong skills in sewing, fitting, and specialty areas such as sequins, chiffon, leather, and knits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of seamstress/tailoring experience with luxury clothing and materials.
• Proficient in sewing, fitting, and altering a wide range of women’s garments.
• Strong technical background in specialty skills such as sequins, chiffon, leather, knits, etc.
• Demonstrated pressing and spotting skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for working with clients.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor and professional appearance at all times.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills/processes and enhance current abilities.
• Flexible and available to work retail hours, including Saturdays and store events.
