Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. is seeking a Retail Store Tailor—Alterations to join our team in Savannah, GA. You will perform a range of alterations, take precise measurements, and provide garment fittings to ensure a perfect fit and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong sewing ability, reliability, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced retail setting. You will maintain a clean workspace, press finished garments, assist customers, and support front-of-house activities.

Qualifications

Experience with fabric alterations and sewing skills.
Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
Must be able to work 40 hours per week as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform standard alterations (hemming, adjustments, and fittings) to company guidelines.
Maintain quality by ensuring clean finishes, even seams, and secure stitching.
Press garments for a crisp finish and tag/organize completed work for pickup.
Support front-of-house tasks, assist customers, and provide tailoring guidance.
Collaborate with team, train staff on basics of fitting and pressing, and report safety concerns.
Monitor inventory levels of tailoring supplies and request replenishment.
Uphold professional appearance and standards in a busy retail environment.
