Job summary

The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is seeking a Floral Design Manager to lead the creative direction, operations, and financial performance of its floral and plant program across campus, including weddings, member events, and luxury hospitality settings.

You will manage a team of designers, develop seasonal concepts, oversee budgets and procurement, and collaborate with multiple departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences and stunning, premium florals.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years progressive floral design experience.
• 3–5 years leadership managing a floral studio or luxury operation.
• Experience in luxury hotel/resort or premier floral studio.
• Budgets, inventory, pricing, and P&L management experience.
• Strong portfolio of elevated floral artistry for large events.
• Established wholesale/vendor relationships.
• Ability to translate client vision into profitable floral experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the creative vision for all floral and plant installations.
• Oversee daily studio operations: production, inventory, deliveries, and installations.
• Plan and execute weddings, corporate events, and holiday programs.
• Manage budgets, pricing, and profitability; monitor financial metrics.
• Source wholesalers and manage vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
