Job summary

Jacques Marie Mage is seeking an Optician at the SOHO Gallery to represent the brand with top-tier client engagement. You will guide clients through selection of frames and lenses, ensuring medical requirements are met and delivering an extraordinary in-gallery experience.

The ideal candidate has ABOC licensure and 2–4 years in optician roles, with a passion for luxury eyewear, precision in measurements, and a client-first mindset. This is a full-time position in New York.

Qualifications

• Licensed ABOC in good standing.
• 2–4 years’ experience in an optician environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets through consistent delivery of the client experience.
• Storytelling to submerge clients into the JMM world.
• Lead client engagement with precision to meet medical requirements and needs.
• Adhere to policy and procedures.
• Fulfill, process, and communicate orders to the external lab and meet lead times.
• Assist clients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescriptions.
