Job summary

GCB Building Group seeks a Luxury Design-Build Assistant Project Manager / Interior Designer to support high-end residential renovations and custom homes from concept to completion in South Florida. You will guide clients through design selections, coordinate with architects and vendors, and assist with scheduling, documentation, and on-site communication.

You will bring at least 3 years of experience in luxury residential design, strong detailing, and a client-focused approach to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in residential design, interior design, luxury residential construction, assistant project management, or design-build environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage interior design process for luxury residential renovations and custom home projects.
• Guide clients through finish selections including flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile, paint, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and hardware.
• Create design boards, finish schedules, material specifications, selection documents, and client presentations.
• Assist project managers with scheduling, documentation, and day-to-day coordination.
• Coordinate timelines, client deliverables, vendor orders, and subcontractor coordination.
• Review drawings and construction docs to ensure design intent and details are communicated.
• Attend site visits, client meetings, and showroom appointments as needed.
• Track material selections, quotes, lead times, and delivery dates.
• Support BuilderTrend updates and client communications.
