The Custom Home Builder / Construction Manager role centers on overseeing luxury and custom-home projects from inception to completion. You will drive schedules, budgets, quality, and safety while coordinating with homeowners, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential construction management or related experience.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specs, and scopes of work.
• Knowledge of local building codes, inspection processes, and safety regulations.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multiple projects.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple custom home projects from start to finish.
• Develop and execute project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and trade partners.
• Review plans, specs, scopes of work, and schedules for successful execution.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress and address issues.
• Ensure homes are built to company standards, architectural plans, codes, and customer expectations.
• Monitor project budgets and control costs to minimize overruns.
• Enforce safety policies and coordinate required inspections with authorities.
• Serve as primary contact for homeowners and provide regular updates.
