Bosun in the Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Custom Home Estimator to join its team. This in-office position focuses on developing accurate estimates from plans, coordinating with sales, and supporting the pre-construction process.

The role demands strong Excel skills, plan-reading ability, and a track record of estimating luxury residential projects. Relocation is not offered; this is a full-time, in-office opportunity in the Aledo/Fort Worth area.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience estimating custom homes and high-end projects.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and costs.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
• Advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for custom homes.
• Review plans and specs to determine material and labor costs.
• Develop estimates using Excel with detailed pricing and budget analysis.
• Solicit, review, and compare pricing from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Maintain knowledge of current construction costs, labor rates, and market trends.
• Assist with project budgeting and pre-construction financial analysis.
