Starwood Hotels in Austin, TX is seeking a Catering and Conference Services Manager to lead event teams and craft exceptional experiences for luxury meetings and social gatherings. You will develop creative strategies to maximize profitability, support financial and marketing objectives, and ensure flawless execution of events from planning to wrap-up.

The ideal candidate has at least four years in hospitality, strong leadership, sales acumen, and excellent written and verbal communication;

Qualifications

• Passionate about hospitality and food & beverage with a minimum of 4 years of similar work experience.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• An expert in Catering & Events, a strong leader, natural salesperson and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
• Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
• Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
