Job summary

Spruce Peak at Stowe Mountain Resort is seeking a Catering Manager to coordinate and communicate details for sales groups, weddings, and social events, ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenues from rooms, food, beverage, and meeting spaces.

The ideal candidate will have a hospitality or business degree, at least two years in sales or event management with F&B experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

• College degree in hospitality, business, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• A minimum of two years in sales or event management with one year in F&B or luxury hospitality related work experience.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal departments.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
• Prior experience in high-volume and luxury environments.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and or holidays as the business requires.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to occasionally assist in breaking down to set up of banquet space, or assist in food service as needed, requiring lifting of up to 50 pounds.
