Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced General Manager for a luxury boutique hotel near High Point, NC. This role emphasizes personalized service, VIP hospitality, and boutique operations.

You will lead a small, quality-driven team, manage P&L, budgeting, and renovations during a $20M property-wide makeover, with a Monday–Friday schedule aligned to the university calendar and occasional events.

Qualifications

• Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and labor-management experience.
• Proven success leading department heads and developing teams.
• Experience with food & beverage, banquets, conferences, or events.
• Deep understanding of personalized luxury service and VIP hospitality.
• Polished executive presence and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to High Point, NC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations and luxury guest experience.
• Lead department heads and property leadership team.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, labor, and cost controls.
• Oversee food & beverage, conferences, events, and VIP hospitality.
• Maintain relationships with senior university stakeholders.
• Uphold service standards, develop the team, and drive improvements.
• Oversee renovation and long-term property initiatives.
