Job summary

The h.wood Group in New York is seeking experienced Barbacks for Lady Delilah this Fall, to deliver a warm, lavish dining experience and impeccable guest service. You will help ensure a well-stocked bar, assist bartenders, and support a hospitality-driven environment.

Candidates should have a NY Food Handler card, be 21+, and able to stand for long shifts with lifting up to 30 lbs. Prior high-end, high-volume restaurant experience is preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• A NY Certified Food Handlers card is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant is preferred.
• Must stand for long shifts with possible lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, responsible and trustworthy.
• High energy with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware and utensils.
• Assist with opening and closing duties for the bar area.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
