Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in New York invites a Waitstaff to join our Amenity Services team. You will deliver exceptional dining and bar service in our Executive Dining Rooms and at events in our all-electric 270 Park headquarters.

You will learn menu items, process orders with the POS system, and keep spaces clean while catering to guests across breakfast, lunch and dinner schedules. A strong emphasis on mixology basics and wine service is included.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hotel restaurants and bars.
• Ability to learn and explain menu items, including basic cooking terminology and ingredients.
• Proficiency in using the POS System.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of dining service practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with guests professionally.
• Occasional weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Serve in Executive Dining Rooms and cater functions, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of mixology and wine service.
• Perform duties of bussing, cleaning and resetting tables.
• Prepare and serve beverages to guests at the bar.
• Take and process orders using the POS System and communicate details and special dietary requests to kitchen staff as needed.
• Maintain work areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner and check guests at the bar for proper identification.
