Job summary

St. Anthony Hotel in downtown San Antonio, a Crescent Hotels & Resorts property, invites candidates for Banquet Servers to join our distinguished Banquets team.

You will set up and breakdown banquet functions and serve food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner according to our high standards of quality. This on-site role requires 18+ with TABC certification and Tips Trained; weekend and holiday availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Comprehend reading materials, speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms per BEO, including linen, tableware and glassware.
• Set up function rooms, coffee breaks, buffets and bars as needed.
• Attend pre-shift meetings with Banquet Captain and Servers.
• Ensure all meeting rooms are set according to BEOs and kept clean.
• Execute steps of service and maintain company standards.
• Greet guests and respond to requests warmly and professionally.
• Serve food and/or beverages in order of the Supervisor's guidance; clear dishes as courses finish.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet room after function to be ready for next event.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
