Job summary

The Banquet Cook at St. Anthony Hotel, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, will prepare, cook, and present high‑quality banquet items for events in a luxury setting in San Antonio, Texas.

You will collaborate with the culinary team to meet BEO requirements, maintain food safety, and ensure consistent taste and presentation for large crowds. Ideal candidates have formal culinary training and prior banquet or high-volume cooking experience, with a strong eye for detail and teamwork in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary school or formal culinary training.
• Experience in hotel banquet or high-volume production preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present banquet menu items per recipes and standards.
• Review BEOs, production sheets, and instructions for event requirements.
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation for large events.
• Follow food safety procedures and maintain clean, organized stations.
• Coordinate with Banquet leadership to meet event timelines and guest needs.
• Assist with plating, buffets, live stations, and banquet service as required.
