Qualifications

• 3–5 years of banquet or event management in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume, fast-paced and seasonal settings.
• Experience with BEOs, event resumes, floor plans, and timelines.
• Financial acumen with labor, inventory, and event logistics management.
• Knowledge of Napa/Sonoma wine country dining culture and Forbes service standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of all banquet and event functions per BEOs and timelines.
• Act as on-site operational lead during events, ensuring service flow, staffing alignment, and guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate and resolve operational challenges in real time with professionalism.
• Maintain luxury standards across event spaces before, during, and after events.
• Lead, supervise, and coach banquet captains, servers, bartenders, and housepersons.
• Schedule staff based on event needs and labor targets; provide feedback and briefings.
• Collaborate with Sales and Conference Services to ensure smooth turnover and client alignment.
• Monitor labor productivity, inventory, and equipment readiness; ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Represent the resort professionally in all guest and client interactions.
