Job summary

Grubbs Volvo Cars is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair luxury vehicles, perform pre-delivery inspections, and conduct routine maintenance. You will maintain a safe workspace, provide accurate service recommendations, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a dealership or high-volume shop, luxury brand exp preferred.
• ASE certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong mechanical skills and diagnostic ability.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmissions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose vehicle issues using experience, tools, and brand procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance, service repairs, and inspections.
• Conduct pre-delivery vehicle inspections to ensure customer-ready quality.
• Maintain clean and safe workspaces and adhere to shop standards.
• Complete accurate service documentation and comply with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers.
• Support shop efficiency through inventory, organization, and teamwork.
• Attend required training and service meetings.
