Audi West Houston, a Sonic Automotive dealership, is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards. The role includes precise inspections, repairs, and tests to ensure safety and performance.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years with German brands, dealership experience, and legal work status in the USA. The position offers a premium benefits package in a high-performing team environment within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years as Automotive Service Technician on German brands.
Dealership experience required.
Authorized to work in the USA and able to pass pre-employment testing (background checks, drug testing, MVR).

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, or diagnostic issues.
Carry out repairs per diagnosed issues (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC).
Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and functionality post-service.
Replace or repair components like spark plugs, filters, brakes, rotors, belts, hoses.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, alignments).
Check safety and notify service advisor if work is unnecessary or cannot be completed within timeframe.
Communicate with parts department to procure parts and save/ tag parts for warranty or requests.
