Job summary

Audi West Houston, part of Sonic Automotive, is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in our Energy Corridor facility. You will diagnose issues, perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, and HVAC work, and take vehicles on test drives to verify repairs.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of dealership experience, a track record with German brands, and authorization to work in the USA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician working on German luxury brands.
• Must have previous dealership experience.
• Authorized to work in the USA; able to pass background, drug test, and MVR.
• EV certified (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, or diagnostic issues.
• Perform repairs (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, HVAC).
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Replace spark plugs, filters, brakes, rotors, belts, and hoses.
• Conduct routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluids, alignments.
• Coordinate with parts and service advisors on work scope.
• Document work and ensure safety compliance.
