Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Indianapolis, part of Five Star Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our high-volume service department. The role offers tremendous growth opportunities and an unlimited earning potential within a luxury brand environment.

We require 3+ years of service management with a premium brand background; relocation assistance available and full benefits included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Service Management experience.
• Luxury/Mercedes-Benz experience preferred.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with ownership of the department.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee schedules and pay plans.
• Staffing and hiring for the service division.
• Attend manager meetings and conduct service dept. meetings.
• Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service department.
• Maintain service customer pay gross profit growth.
• Maintain technician proficiency.
• Partner with technical schools to recruit technicians.
• Partner with OEM and other third party vendors.
• Motivate, train, develop and reward employees.
• Provide and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees and customers.
