Job summary

Group 1 Porsche of Westwood in Massachusetts is seeking an Automotive Service Technician Helper to support our award-winning service team and assist technicians with daily shop operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about high-performance cars and eager to begin or advance a career in automotive service.

You'll work alongside Porsche-certified technicians, learn Porsche-specific procedures, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment while building a rewarding

Qualifications

• Passion for automotive industry, with an interest in luxury or high-performance vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced team environment.
• The ability to lift equipment and parts while working safely in an active service shop.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support technicians with daily shop operations and repair activities.
• Assist with routine maintenance services, including quick lube and basic maintenance procedures.
• Provide hands-on assistance during complex repairs requiring an additional team member.
• Organize, inventory, and maintain specialty tools and shop equipment.
• Maintain exceptional shop cleanliness and organization throughout all work areas.
• Ensure workspaces remain safe, efficient, and compliant with Porsche and dealership standards.
• Help prepare vehicles, parts, and equipment before and after repairs.
• Assist with moving vehicles throughout the service department as needed.
• Serve as a key contributor in maintaining an organized, professional, and efficient shop environment.
• Work collaboratively with technicians, shop foreman, parts department, and service advisors to support daily operational success.
